Attorneys Forest Wilkerson and Joshua Mulligan have both centered their law practice at the Larson Justice Center since 2007. Indio’s criminal cases are heard in the Larson Justice Center. They began their careers at the Desert Branch of the Riverside County Public Defender’s  and worked their way up from handling minor cases to the most serious complex matters including homicide and child molestation cases.  After devoting seven years of their careers to public service, Forest and Joshua determined that they may better service Indio’s public by opening their own private practice.
Hence in 2013, Forest and Joshua began their private practice in the desert as they opened Wilkerson & Mulligan law firm. Since then, they have worked almost exclusively at the Larson Justice Center in Indio. 
During their years as practicing public defenders and private attorneys, Forest and Joshua have cultivated a professional working relationship and familiarity with Indio’s prosecuting team and supervisors. The world-famous music festival Coachella is held every year at the Empire Polo grounds in Indio. The music festival draws in thousands of tourists from around the world every year by hosting big-name artists such as Drake, Tarvis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and many more. It is generally known with any large-scale recreational activity that draws thousands of individuals that use of illicit drugs is bound to occur.
